One of the most unnerving elements of our transition to Ecuador was not having a trustworthy point of contact. We did countless hours of research and were lucky enough to have access to resources to perform some security screening contacts for certain aspects of our transition. Even then we were still flying blind. We could have spent $1000's on flights plus accomodation etc. plus lost income due to time off work. All this to do some local research and scouting that may have been of limited value because it can seem like a vacation when visiting new places for short periods of time. We all know the saying a change is as good as a rest and initially may seem great.

 

We would have been happy to engage someone willing to perform research on the ground for validation and vetting purposes, whether it be confirming business addresses, rental accomodations, recommendations or introductions of resources. Below lists some of the things we would have considered valuable to our relocation efforts​

Property Services

 

Having experience in four vastly different real estate markets both as a tenant and owner. We can honestly say the human element remains the same as in anything else, very inconsistent.

 

Being physically here in Cuenca we can visit properties of interest to you and review and vet them according to your criteria. Provide videos and pictures, not just the marketable ones placed in the ads. We know of people who committed to rentals and found themselves not happy for a variety of reasons such as too close or too far from busy streets, public transport or the city center.

 

As with all our services they are here to reduce your risks and chances of disappointment.

 

 

Technical Services
